Ventile® fabric was originally developed to meet the demands of British RAF pilots during the Second World War, and has since proven itself as a versatile, high-performance material. Our collection of Ventile® products is made from 100% organic, extra-long staple cotton, sustainably sourced from the finest 2% of the world’s cotton crops. Organic Ventile® cotton combines exceptional durability, longevity and ultimate performance. All of our Ventile® products are treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating to ensure water-repellent performance. In addition, most Ventile® products in our collection incorporate the waterproof, windproof and breathable CTX™ membrane technology.

Ventguard® is a special polyester/nylon construction that creates an extremely lightweight, hard-wearing and tear-resistant fabric. All of our Ventguard® products are treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating to provide a truly water- and stain-repellent surface. The Ventguard® fabric features a special finishing process that results in an ultra-soft – yet highly durable – almost silent material. In addition, most Ventguard® products in our collection incorporate the waterproof, windproof and breathable CTX™ membrane technology.

Austrian loden is made from 100% wool. The wool is processed through up to 40 meticulous steps, resulting in a felted, soft, warm and highly durable material with truly functional performance. If you care for your loden garment properly, it can often be passed on to the next generation. We use only loden from the finest Austrian producers – Loden Steiner and Leichtfried Loden.
